Instructors, The Close Family (More coming soon!)
The
Close Family consists of both Mike and Lisa Close- a married
pair unlike any other. First there's Mr. Mike Close- a man whose
name is more appropriate than you'd think! His skill in sleight
of hand magic is world renown--so much so, he has written books
that have taught millions how to master the arts. But, Mike's
talents are not limited to his superlative mastering of the magic
arts. He is also a jazz musician of extraordinary talent, and
has written books that are artful in the use of language. His
book "That Reminds Me" is one of the best reviewed collection
of jokes and stories written in recent years.
Mike
is a gifted public speaker and teaches so well he is offering
courses in the art of humor in public speaking. His approach is
warm, and will make any student a master of the craft.
His
vivacious and beautiful wife Lisa has the gift
of the craft of magic as well. In fact, the pair met through these
skills. But Lisa is also an artist, and a wise business woman.
She assists our school in several capacities. It is likely you
will find Lisa teaching courses as aptly as you will see her guiding
our programs into the future. She is the heart of the school.
